It has brought to our attention that customers using UrduPress & UrduPaper theme are facing an issue where website gets stuck and does not load on Android Mobile browsers especially Google Chrome.
After a thorough investigation we have found that the issue is with a font “Noto Nastaleeq” which is a font by Goggle Fonts. It caused the mobile browser to hang and stops loading of the website.
We have now released a patch for both themes, please download the latest version:
Download the latest version from your account and replace on your website. Please clear all website and mobile cache after replacing the theme (including cache on CloudFlare) before testing.
If your download access has expired, please renew your subscription or switch your website font from Noto Nastaleeq to any other font on all locations. You can maange fonts in Appearance > Customize > Typography
If you are using UrduPress 6+ with Elementor, edit the Homepage and change font for all the widgets wherever the affected font is used.
